Who is Grandma Lili?

I’m everyone’s mom and everyone’s grandma.  I work in education and go out of my way to make everyone’s job or process easier.  I support equity – racial equity, gender equity, economic equity.  I believe everyone should have the same access to education, health care, and food/housing.  I think trickle down anything is a joke, and we have allowed society to become arrogant and selfish to the point where we don’t care about each other – only ourselves.  I’m a fierce advocate for social justice, a scholar that studies inequity in education, and a Democratic Socialist.  I believe in God AND science.

I believe that we cannot fix a problem we refuse to acknowledge – and systemic racism, discrimination and inequity is something we refuse to acknowledge – I have opinions, and I’m not afraid to share them.  I research things, read, investigate, and try not to write/post anything that is not verified.

I also believe the most important thing you can show your kids, grandkid, nieces, nephews, or any other child in your life is safety and love.  That’s the key.  Beyond that, everything else is gravy.  Knowing they are loved is the most important thing in the world.

I welcome debate and discussion.  I welcome discourse.  I do not welcome nastiness.  Share, comment, enjoy.  Subscribe.  Share.  Show love.  Suggest topics.

And if you have kids, check out “Storytime with Grandma Lili.”  It’s totally for kids.

Don’t take my word for it, look it up.

Love,
